Oberoi Hotels & Resorts is the luxury brand of The Oberoi Group, whose story began in 1934 when Mohan Singh Oberoi took over Clarkes Hotel in Shimla. Today the brand is a small, carefully chosen collection of luxury hotels in India and a few other countries, including Egypt, Indonesia, Mauritius, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
