About The Luxury Collection

The Luxury Collection began in 1992 as the ITT Sheraton Luxury Collection and is often described as the first hotel ‘soft brand’. Part of its heritage comes from CIGA, the Italian grand-hotel company. It is now part of Marriott International and includes more than 130 hotels in over 40 countries.

What to expect

Each hotel keeps its own name and character, from historic palaces to city landmarks and destination resorts. In India the brand is closely linked with ITC Hotels, several of whose luxury hotels are part of the collection.

Who it suits

Travellers who want a distinctive luxury hotel with a sense of place, rather than a uniform chain experience.

Booking tips
