About Zel

Meliá and tennis player Rafa Nadal announced Zel in Madrid in late 2022 as a joint venture, describing it as the first lifestyle hotel brand with the essence of the Mediterranean. The first hotel, Zel Mallorca in Palmanova, opened in 2023 with 165 rooms.
